very beneficial to all j farmers who attend and take part in the competition instruction will be given on i the various soil types during the i morning period there will also be discussion on how to best use the various soil types from crop point of view during the contestants j will b given the opportunity on i a farm in the port perry airrt i to put into practice what they have learned during the morn ing instruction period the competition will lie div ided into three classes juniors must be ii years of age but must not have reached thcir 16th birthday intermediate class will be made up of young men between the ages of 16 and 21 while the senior class will be made up of men 21 years of age and over this land judging competi tion has been well attended in the past it is hoped that a large number of junior farmers will again take advantage of this competition to gain a belter ap preciation of the soils on their own farm and in ontario county year up from 4000 last year if so the
