ment on friday evening febru ary 5th the mens club held their annual father and son banquet with fifty present- following the supper lloyd wilson proposed a toast from the fathers to the sons he said he thought the boys were do ing their best to carry on the tradition of their forefathers in this community in trying to live up to their standards he thought the parents should be very proud of the young people this toast was answered by lorne disney who thanked the fathers for the privilege of meet ing with them again at the fa ther and son banquet murray jones proposed the toast of the sons to the fathers he stressed the need of com panionship between the father and young son and that the son appreciates the father taking an interest in anything he tries to do in replying to this toast earl disney said he thought the sons have done extra well in this community they have taken a keen interest in church work choir young peoples and jun ior farmers they also have done well in sports such as base ball and hockey following the toasts the chairman cecil disney gave a few remarks thanking every one for their cooperation gordon taber of brooklin who has been a regular attend ant at these
