for the competition the competitors were given a demonstration on making their crown and first furrows and also a demonstra tion on a finish for their land the purpose of the junior farmer plowing matches is to give the junior plowman an op portunity to receive instruction on plowing and proper plow ad justments and to encourage their participation in senior matches the winners in the class for
