toronto and a niece of mr john lehman stouff- ville and she- with her husband and three children have moved to stouffvilie for their furlough period at the close of the meet ing mrs boettger was given receiv ed a plaque on behalf of the club for having had move than five new members join within one month death of mrs harry walters the funeral was conducted on monday afternoon from the asbury west united church bathurst st toronto for the late mrs harry walters for- merly of stouffvilie mr and mrs walters left stouffvilte for the city last year after operat ing the mayfair restaurant business for some years mr walters also served on the stouffviile municipal council mrs walters passed away at the branson hospital on thurs day jan 8th besides her hus band she is survived by mrs b ruthven isobel of new toronto mrs wm baughman lola of hamilton mrs roy daugustine noreen mrs douglas card marlene jac queline and frank all of tor onto interment was made in prospect cemetery ratepayers will be held at 8 pm bank promotion mr victor h atkinson man ager of the blenheim branch of the canadian bank of com merce has received word from head office that he has been promoted to manage the banks branch at simcoe mr atkinson expects to move to simcoe in about six weeks and will be replaced by mr a e smith who is at present man ager of the orangeville branch since going to blenheim from
