the sudden passing in oshawa hos pital early sunday morning may 25th of mrs jacob wagg although she had not enjoved good health for the last few years she was seriously ill just a few days the late mrs wagg was born at goodwood in 1888 the daughter of mr and mrs henry leach she attended school at gari baldi married in 1905 she and her husband lived for some years on the sixth concession of uxbridge before moving to kinsale in 1914 always inter ested in womens work mrs wagg was a great worker in the womens institute being presi dent of our local branch for several years and later becom ing convener of historical re search of which she made quite a study in her earlier yearsi she was a member of our wa where she held the post of treasurer until ill health overtook her her ability and ready wit made her much in demand for social pro grams her greatest hobby was perhaps her flower garden well known around the district and she will long be remembered for the beautiful flowers which brought so much pleasure to so many people mrs wagg is survived by her husband one daughter celia mrs stanley rose london two sons garnett and verle of kinsale and eight grandchild ren also surviving
