assessment court of revision was appointed by a vote of 32 council drop ped w h champion from the court and appointed in his place archie little voting for mr little were reeve w l clarke and councillors l mumberson and mrs kathleen james vot ing for mr champion were deputyreeve don deacon and councillor howard cosburn during the proceedings j a fleming assessment commis sioner jumped to his foot when mr champion told council since being appointed to the court of revision i have found inequalities in the assessment of the township that should come from the j court of revision not from a member mr flcnling declared j i have the floor yet mr fleming can interrupt just asl he did at the court of revision continued mr champion im not asking for this position on the court hut if i can be of assistance jh do my best mr champion charged thai the assessment commissioner discuss a problem had suggested to the court of revision that he mr cham pion should resign this brought mr fleming mussel- mans lake said to bear names of 198 ratepayers a deputation of some 40 persons attended a number supporting the petition but the larger number made up of ratepayers not now residing in the opposed to a division of the sec tion reeve leggc addressed the delegation stating the petition should have been placed in the hands of the board he advised that an attitude of giveandtake to the
