popular place thanks to several area resrdents Wayne and Allen Beckley brothers have deSigned and animated 10 sets depicting claSSIc adventure stories for the Carlseberg Festival Building Wayne the 39yearold owner of Creative DCSlgll Association of Midhurst says he has always enjoyed the work of Walt Disney and believed there was market for similar work here All we had to do was to find someone who would believe in us and Carlseberg did There is really no one else in Canada who does this kind of work he said SPECIAL EFFECTS The moving parts of each set are operated by compressed air and computer programme ing This gives better variety of moves They dont all do exactly the same thing each time they move Special effects such as the sound of guns firing lightning flashes and rolls of thunder combined with wind effects and steamboat whistles make the tour well worthwhile At times the exhibit is so crowded Carlseberg officials are forced to limit the number of people allowed in at supposedly for reloading This was the most difficult to prepare but also the one enjoyed working on the most The cannons fire every seven seconds Blackbeard and six of his raiigy crew are seen firing
