Jennett was the son of the late Robert Jennett and Annie Lennox of Ivy and was born and raised in the community He married Jean McLean in 1926 and farmed on the Jennett farm south of Ivy until 1963 when they retired and moved to the village Jennett took keen interest in the affairs of the neigh borhood and was loved by all who knew him He was great worker and supporter of Christ Anglican Church past warden and secretarytreas urer of the Christ Church cemetery board for years He joined the Ivy LOL No 450 lodge Feb 17 1919 and served as worshipful master in 1932 In 1969 he was made an honorary long service member Lodge members held memorial service Jennett was wellknown among baseball fans in town playing for years and attending all of the games Surviving relatives include his wife Jean
