withstood the challenges of time expansion curved sticks and the efforts of some of hockcys most ex plosive scorers One of hockcys top scorers himself Mosienko carried his spot in the record books by scoring three goals in 21 sec onds The goals sent hicago Black Hawks to 73 victory over New York Rangers That night brings back fond memories Mosienko recalls from his home in the north end of Winnipeg where he grew up Its something that hap period But you didnt realize it it happened so darn fast didnt even know it was record until teammate Jim rny Peters told me after the third goal Mosic he said go get that puck thats record It seems like its all did that night was retrieve packs from the net Mosienko retrieved all three pucks because the first two rep resented his 29th and 110th goals of the season feat not com mon in the days of preex pansion llis threogoal feat now start ds as one of hockcys most un touchable records perhaps the one that survives where all oth ers fall At age 55 Mosienko has ad led few pounds around the middle and has thinning grey hair But he still retains that strong stocky build that en abled him to survive 14 years of punishment in the National
