general committee decided Monday to allow the committee headed by Ald Ross Stephens to investigate the matter The civic centre proposal was reintroduced by Ald Doug Jagges who had asked for review of the civic centre from administration Last year city council ap proved the concept in principle and general committee recon firmed its general acceptance of the scheme as devised by ar chitect Ted Teshima Ald Ernie Rotman was wary of the deal because the recom mendation would be handled by only three members of council Its of major importance to the whole city said the Barrie alderman They
