the Ontario Provincial Police to patrol Kempenfelt Bay because arrangements for city patrol are too costly At its meeting Tuesday the board voted to ask for OPP assistance in policing the bay west end which falls within City police jurisdiction During the past several years City police have used boat loaned to them byChrysler Outboard Ltd The company closed its Barrie plant last December however and police have been left without boat for marine patrols At the May meeting the board decided to seek arrangements with local marina for boat use in an emergency MacDonalds Marine Ltd drafted con tract for use of boat at $20 an hr Chief Snider estimated the boat would be used for one call week during the weeks boating season from May to October On that basis boat rental for one season would
