Friday night at Codrington Street Public School Oliver presented magic show called You Believe In Magic and after watching him perform more than dozen tricks have to admit Im believer Oliver has travelled throughout North America stu dying and performing magic The stunts and illusions be per formed Friday night ranged from classic routines cutting ropes and putting them back together removing wrist locks while he hands are hidden in bag to more exotic tricks like the Sand Symphonies and Disco Morphosis based on Houdinis Metamorphosis illusion In the Sand Symphonies illu sion Oliver mixes colored sand in clear bowl of water then removes the sand from the water dramatically dropping the dry sand from his hand In Disco Morphosis Oliver is tied up by his assistant Katherine Turney placed in large sack and locked in trunk Miss Turney then stands on the trunk and pulls cloth curtain in front of her Second later the curtain falls to reveal Oliver who then frees Miss Turney who is trapped inside the bag inside the trunk with her hands tied In illusions like these Oliver handles himself with the speed and polish of professional magician He also manages an Ron Oliver slides tied knot
