doctor had fever and was pretty sick thought had bladder infection This doctor wanted some lab work done before he could tell me what was wrong The next aftemoon he called and said should come back in as soon as possible that had VD To say was shocked is putting it mildly Im 34year old mother of two married for 14 years and have never had intercourse with anyone but my husband When my husband came home told him what the doctor said He hit the ceiling insisted the doctor didnt know what he was talking about That night became seriously ill The next day my husband took me to another doctor and we told him of the first doctors diagnosis He took test told me had severe kidney infection and put me in the hospital where stayed for week He also tested me for VD and those tests were negative My question is what can we do about the first doctor We live in small community and Im sure his records show that had VD If we make big thing of it everybody will know and some people may believe the worst What are our options Can we request that he give us those medical files My husband has said hed like to go punch him out but thats nnsolution Please answe4 in your column Hopping Mad Dear Hop Lab tests are not infallible Kidney infection symptoms are similar to and may be confused with symp toms of VD Moreover some diseases such as measles mumps leprosy and certain types of pneumonia will pro duce positive Wasserman test You should inform the first doctor of the sequence of events and he will adjust his records He does not want his records to be faulty any more than you do Dear Ann Landers Im writing to you on behalf of the loved wanted and tenderly nurtured children who turn out bad for no reason Where do you get off printing suqh garbage as that Have you any idea what these centres They became separated from one another and she was lost for three days before find ing her way out Lucky she was strong woman weaker one would have panicked and they would have found her unconscious body thrown over waisthigh glass map that looks like pigeon relief station with her fingers pointing to YOU ARE HERE Its going to get worse before it gets better Every day shopping centres get larger and larger with each one vying for the biggest in the world status After awhile when someone is missing the standard procedure will be to check all the hospitals morgues and the shopping centres Theres shopping centre near me that has reached three exit proportions and is in the process of applying for state hood There are glass elevators suhlowerupperand mid upper levels skating rinks malls special corridors and parking for several thousand cars Unfortunately the cars were parked the day the building was completed and havent moved since went there once with Mother who jumped out of the car and said Meet you in the shoe store never saw her again have to admit have always found my way out of shop ping centres but never at the same door in which entered or the same age am never fully prepared for the next Shopping Centre Game which is FIND YOUR CAR have theory about cars parked in shopping centre parking lot Unknown to the shoppers the shopping centre revolves slowly perhaps an inch an hour so slowly that you cannot see the difference with the naked eye However when you come out after five or six hours your car is never in the same place in which you parked it All know is shopping centres cant get too big for my mother She loves em The bigger the better Recently she saw maze of shops and lights and trees and concrete and yelled Stop the car What do they call this shopping centre Los Angeles Mother Pollys Pointers Some stains permanent DEAR PULLY Please let me know how to remove stains from lightcolored clothes isoiiie were baby clothes that soaked overnight in laundry solution with navy blue polyester knit There are purplish stains on white knit garment that cannot remove them MRS DEAR MRS ILL We could all save ourselves time worry and money if we were more careful about sorting laundry Not all stains can be removed If the discolored items are white for were originally you might try using color remover according to the directions on the box Be sure the fabric will take it If not try dissolving onefourth teaspoon of the remover in onehalf cup water and see if that will be tolerable to the material Wet stains with few drops of this cover with cotton pail dampened with the solution and leave on no more than 15 minutes Rinse well and repeat if necessary POLLY DICAR IOLIIY would like to remind the other readers that white nylon should not be washed with anything other than white clothes because it acts as scavenger picking up other colors When such an accident does happen put cup of dishwashing detergent in plastic pail with cup of household bleach and gallon of hot water soak the item for about half an hour Wring out and then put in the washer to go through regular cycle with the usual detergent and add cup of white vinegar to the final rinse If this does not help color remover might but do follow the directions on the package Mrs Pollys note test effect of anything on fabric before proceeding DEAR POLLY If permanent press clothes are left in the dryer long after it stops they become wrinkled Put damp dish towel in the dryer with the wrinkled clothes and let it run for about 10 minutes and the wrinkles Will come out Hit
