pressive history of helping other people Ethel Clifton frowns upon suggestions that she has contributed con siderable amount to the com munity Once youve earned living you want to give hand to help others up the ladder she says Mrs Clifton knows the Barrie community well She represents the fourth genera tion of her family to make their homes and livelihood here As harmacist she operated usiness Public Library We relax and just talk she explains she takes out the pages of material which she has prepared hononyms preposi tions short forms of names all the things we take for granted as being
