iCPi The free ride is over for Ontario drivers who dont have car in surance says Ontarios Consumer Affairs Minister Frank Drca nder legislation Drea introduced Friday all drivers must have minimum of $100000 public liability insurance to cover people in jurcd in collision The new law effective Jan if passed quickly by the legislature will replace the ministrys motor vehicles accident claim fund Drivers without insurance pay $150 and claims are paid by the fund Drca said in an interview the $150 charge is not enough and puts burden on the taxpayer when claims exceed revenues He said 78000
