during the Huronia Festival of Arts and Crafts held at Centennial Park on the weekend The awards were announced Sunday at pm on the second day of the threeday festival which drew more than 175 ex hibitors from Ontario Quebec and New York state Two $50 awards were presented by the Huronia Festival Beverley Spicer an artist from Fort Erie won the watercolor award Christina Stafford of Toronto won the award for the best acrylics display The Littles Hill Players Barries amateur theatre troupe is looking for young people between the ages of 16 and 30 who like to dance The dancers are needed for September mall promotion of the Players new show Copa Banana Copa Banana will be presented in October at the Embassy Hall The show will entertainment Editor Stephen Gauer7266537 The $50 award for drawings and prints presented by DeVilbiss Canada Ltd went to Egido Del Belle of Toronto The winner of the open category was Sandy Cline sculptor from Fort Erie who won the award sponsored by AJ Brown Ltd Canadian Tire Associates Store Four craft awards were presented at the festival Shirley McHugh of Kitchener won the $50 textile award spon sored by Barrie Tanning Ltd for her exhibit of English smocking Eric Lindgren of Stroud won the $50 clayware award spon sored by Barrie Tanning Ltd for his exhibit of pottery feature songs and dances from the turn of the century to the present This is the
