Clarke explained to the roar that the charges stemmed from deductions Mrs Schultz took from customers who partly paid for meals with coupons These promoFenal coupons were redeemed by customers as discount on the price of the meal CHARGED TAX When customer used coupon to pay for $1 or $6 meal for example Mrs Schultz charged the customer sales tax on 36 She paid the government Two denied bail
