good reason to be hap py The two years that have elapsed since his last album Im In You havent exactly been empty tour of the Far East starring role in the film Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band but not all the ac tivity has been as positive year ago Frampton was in volved in an automobile acci dent in the Bahamas that saw him hospitalized for several weeks with multiple fractures contusions and muscle damage Today Frampton can discuss the incident more easily What the accidents done for me is to slow me down bit and also made me treasure life bit more It was close for while Now feel like Ive been given second chance as though Im starting again Everythings challenge Where Should Be is part of that challenge In 1976 Peter had become the sensation of the music business when his double album Frampton Comes alive started selling by the millions and turned Frampton into universal household word Success wasnt something new for Peter although his career had had its low points as well His song Its Sad Affair which Peter admits is largely autobio graphical concerning the end of his relationship with longtime girlfriend Penny Mc Call The thing Im most happy about is that the album has listening as his studio work with the added benefit of the crowds energy Magione performs best when he can feel the audience vibes In fact the diminutive flugel horn wiz owes much of his cur rent popularity to concert recordings His regional follow ing was greatly increased following the release in 1973 of his Land of Make Believe album recorded at Torontos Massey Hall The same flavor comes
