basketball champions While Barnes believes that poten tially he has very strong team injuries have plagued many of his players this season From the 11 girls on last seasons team nine of them have Injuries this year said Barnes There doesnt seem to be anything can do to prevent them were doing more stretching jogging and flexibility than weve ever done before The in jurIes are just flukes Despite these injuries Barnes has had success with uu we no earn the team In their opening game they narrowly beat Bradford 4240 but then they nded Alliston 5035 and uried Innisdale 5920 Nevertheless Barnes feels that the team is behind where they should be at this point in the season Were where we should have been two weeks ago said Barnes Weve only had five practices with the entire team slipping off the bus steps when they travel to game The injuries are also plaguing the girls Barnes feels that their attitudes lack Brian Barnes says his team is potentially strong but injuries have that the calibre of senior girls ball has improved in the six years he has coached the Eastview team Barnes teaches ac counting and law at Eastview but picked up his basketball knowledge from his days
