named Skater of the Year Janine Scott of Stayner won the Junior Girl Skater in the aged 12 to 20 group Jeffrey Leigh of Hawkestone won the Junior Boy Skater Senior Girl Skater was Douglas Smith of Hawkestone The Over40 Lady Skater was Doreen Berry of North Bay and the Over 40 Man Skater was Harold Prophet of RR Hawkestone The judges for the skaters were Corine Gray and Sandra Shelswell The trophies were donated and presented by Doreen Berry and Roberta Gray Each participant in the races which were called by Barbara Sinton was presented with an Easter egg by Norma Leigh Barbara and Norma had few helpers for the races namely Doug Smith Jim Gray John Scott Jr Joe Godden Floyd Sinton and Hess Caresse There were several wipeouts but only one injury to visitor wh was recovering from
