residents objections has reached stalemate MII George Taylor tPCSimcoe Centre told The Examiner Monday Taylor who promised the residents he would take the issue to top provincial govern ment levels said Energy Minister James Auld has put hold on an order in council that would allow the station to go through until he Iiears from me formally Taylor said the next step would be to ask the minister Ontario Municipal Board hearing planning con sultant told council Dan Hammond of Ross Ray mond and Associates planning consultants for the township said the bylaw which was pass ed last year has been cir culated through the township and 28 persons have objected Hammond said the bylaw recognizes the existing land uses whch are mainly agricultural and residential and the objections are quite mmor Hammmond said letters will be sent out to all objectors in forming them of the opportunr ty He sid the letters would be categorized according to the nature of the response to the bylaw CATEGORIES INtIilIHII The categories include situa tions where the township does not consider the objections valid and plans no action specific cases where the township intends to negotiate cases of objec tions where insufficient reasons were given and acknowledge ment of all positive responses to the bylaw Hammond said the replies are standard procedure under Ontario Municipal Board rules before hearing
