proba tion are young ple Judge Anjo said to volunteers Your role will be to help ad vise guide and counsel so meone who needs it The volunteers recently com pleted fourweek course in structed by Joanne McFee of the ministry of correctional ser vices on the role of the volunteer probation officer Each volunteer has agreed to ï¬ve at least one year of conti nuing service Volunteers will help ease the case loads of staff probation of ficers said Mrs McFee They will start with one client each and are responsible for sending monthly reports to the ministry The volunteer will be lifestyle the clients only probation ot ficer During the ceremony the volunteers were required to sign an oath that they would keep all information about their clients confidential except when required by law The
