you dont know what is going on have two handguns in my home and one in my car wouldnt give them up for anything Quit being so unrealistic on this subject You owe it to your readers to encourage them to protect themselves Whose sideare you on anyway lallas fixIm Dear Ex It drives me up the wall the way you and millions of other Americans cling to the foolish notion that gun is protection when statistics show that nine times out of ten the intruder is much better shot than the lawabiding citizen and quicker on the draw too feel strongly that this country needs federal gun law Every poll in recent years shows that the majority of our citizens want one When our congressmen and senators muster enough courage to stand up to the gun lobby in Washington we are going to have safer country for ridiculous to make up letters What goes on in peoples lives is far more interesting than anything could invent Moreover nothing is so bizarre so ridiculous or weird that somebody somewhere wont do it My problem is that so many fascinating usable thought provoking letters cross my desk every day have difficult time deciding which letters to publish As for your English teacher and others who think make up letters dont try to change their minds man convinc ed against his will is of the same opinion still Dear Ann Landers am writing this for the person who wanted to know how to clean his dentures when he dined out in public You asked if anyone out there had any ex periences Obviously you have not Well have and heres the answer keep plastic box in my desk drawer When want to clean my dentures at noon or at coffee break time when have an occasional cookie or sweet roll go to the washroom fill the little box with water drop in Polident tablet retire to the private cubicle put the dentures in the plastic box cover with the lid and shake gently empty the water in the commode and put the dentures back in my mouth The cleansing tablet isnt necessary but it does help sweeten the breath This
