competition of the Huronia Winter Games Not when you take look at the entry list posted by the club heading into Sundays event at Park Street Collegiate Institute inOrillia Theres Scott Webb Grade 12 student at Park Streets who is the Ontario champion and holder of five provincial records in the 99 pound class Bob Stripp another Grade 12 student at Park is the Cana dian teenage champion in the 123 pound and under class with Ian Webb of Orillia third best in his class in Canada Orland Carscadden also of Park Street is ranked as one of the best teenage lifters in the province Orillia lifters won five gold medals at the Central Ontario Regional Winter Games last December as well as five silver medals This year they will be pitting their strength and conditioning against competitors from Bar rie Kewswick and Peter borough Weightlifting is one of five events which kickoff the 197677 Huronia Winter Games this weekend All told there are 19 sports involved with the ma jority of games between Jan 816 All but weightlifting Orillia and swimming Midland will be held in Barrie or in the im mediate area Weightlifting badminton curling and fencing are using the 7677 Huronia Games as qualifying
