financing agreements it shares with the provinces but won little support from provin cial finance ministers meeting here The ministers cut short their planned twoday conference and went home complaining that Ottawas proposals may mean higher taxes reduced standards of service for health and education or both for some of the provinces Mr Macdonald said only that the meetinga followup to
