She was in her 815i year native of England Mrs Rowe was the former Ellen Raby daugh ter of the late James Raby and Charlotte Diver She was born July 1870 and came to Canada with her parents at the age of six to reside at Wingham Ontario In 1892 she married Thomas Rowe and came to reside on the ninth line of Sunnidale Township moving to New Lowell in 1919 Her hus band predeceasedher in 1946 Surviving are three daughters and three sons Mrs Prosser Gertie New Lowell Oscar New Lowell Mrs Grainger Ed ia Stayner Frank Toronto Mrs Forester Mabel Toronto and Percy Thornbury one brother John
