plan to make nec essary adjustments in home pro grams in the new year dont generally agree much with special days and weeks when we appreciate youth drive safer or clean up our front yards feel that well order ed life willinclude paying at tention to the impurtant issues day by day But guess most people should periodically anal ize their position decide what is required and determine to car ry out their resolve Moments of decision they are called NO CONCLUSIONS Sonic things about which cannot reach conclusions are Since we cannot completely stamp out crime should police men accept the inuvitahle and join forces with those th mini mize the seriousness of and pen alties for crime Should we graciously accept the fact there will be few cries of outrage at the deaths and brutal beatings of so many pol icemcn during the past year or should we be resentful of such treatment Should we be happy about the entertainment value of the pres ent day crop or movies shown at Ontario theatre which keep our citizens off the streets or is some sort of censorship desirable after all Should we blame the weather man or the sanding crows for most car accidents and he more understanding of the or is strict enforcement still the answer or should we take middleoitheroad position in accidents should we continue to baby sit few rowdy teenagers ev ery time their parents want to shirk their own responsibility mly to have the parents enls turn on us because we did not handle them with kid gloves when they cursed and swore and kicked and spit at us orv should we refer these youngsters to those who insist that punish ment for wrongdoing is old fash ioned and harmful Should we continueto believe that concession is less profitable than discipline in any common lty And is it wrong tosaY that the weakness of democracy is thatit allows us to abuse the very freedoms it guarantees us And finally it sarcasm was forever purged from my system would have anything left to say Harry NEW YEARand may
