are vital to crippled chil dren And yet to date only compara tively small number of return donations which are income tax exempt have been received iiiost of these have come from communities outside Barrie Local residents have been strangely slow in responding Since i928 the Kiwanis Club has been associated with the Ontario Society for Oct pied Children For several years as Kiwanlnn Jack Butler has been director of the society whose honor ary treasurer is that wellknown sport ing figure Conn Smythe Mr Butler is also chairman of the Blue Mountain Camp Committee composed of represen tatives of various service clubs some are Rotary Lions Legion Progress etc who operate for three months cacb sum mer the camp on Georgian Bay for crip led children and some crippled adults iii the early weeks
