Barrie was the third branch of the Bank to be put into operation Today The TorontoDominion Bank has network otioo branches across Canadaas well as oftices in New York City and London England It is Canada fourth largest bank and this year is marking its 100th con inuous year of bank ing service to the Canadian people The TorontoDominion Bank was created by an amalgamation of The Eankof To ronto and The Dominion Bank on February 1955 The Barrie branch has pla yed an important part in the growth and progress of the Bank throughout virtually the entire century of operations as managers here have gone agement at the head office Several of the men who served on to positions of senior man John Lamb manager in Barrie from 1901 to 1905 later served successively as Geheral ManagerPresldent and
