cipal politics in the election of 1954 when he got in by acclama tion after being persuaded to put his name up by the Junior Chamber of Commerce The chamber approached me on nomination day and asked lather ran onetruck cartage business and Les earliest memories are of helping his father on the truck when the depression hit his fathers business the family moved north to near Sprucedale in the Parry Sound district and Les left school to take job handling crosscut saw in Truck Driver COOKE cordwood camp During the summer the family moved down to store at Big Boy pom can devote to his family Examiner yester day that by 1990 the province of Ontario will be using five times the amount of water she is using today Mr Harris who is sponsored by an oil company tours the country telling of the water pol lution in Ontario He has visited nine centres in Southern Ontario this week and will make broadcast Saturday from the Royal Winter Fair Mr Harris described the prob lem of providing an
