DARBY Secretary Waverley On Jan 17 1940 group of farm ers interested in crop improvement work met in Barrie to organize the North Simcoe branchof Crop Im provement Association and to affil iate with the newly organized pro vincial organization known as the Ontario Crap Improvement As sociation At the same time and up to the present 54 county and district branches have been organ ized in the Province of Ontario Through fiield demonstrations and experiments this organization has been interested in improving farm crops and ailter officially in corporating Soil to its name in 1952 the scope of its work has been broadened to include the improveJ ment 0d soil as well as crops and now is known as the Soil and Crop Improvement Association Asour Creator has entrusted us with the care and
