Training College for Offi cers who are in Barrie this week for the Holy Week Crusade being held under the auspices of the local corps attend school that has something very unique about it Situated on Davisvillc Avenue in Toronto it is not an ordinary academic college but much more it is the place where young people between the ages of 18 and 30 years of age come every year drawn from the membership of ogy correspondence course the army throughout the Domins ion They have been called ot God to become leaders Training For Warfare included in the training college program are some aspects of teach ing taught in academiccourses but the cadets also receive an in tensive training in the techniques andstratcgy of modern Christian warfare They are to he leaders in the front ranks of an army that is committed to aggressive warfare against sin wherever and in what everform it is found Therefore the program is geared to this purpose The cadets as theyare aptly called have already been in train ing in the various corps from which they have come and have compioted in many instances three to sixyear Bible and theol They havehad opportunity in their re pective corps of receiving prac EKVI attaining ticai training in leading meetings both outdoors and in and teaching in Sunday School etc The standard of education re quired by the Salvation Army be fore entering the training college is
