More and oldfashion ed lady Bonnie Taylor were the lucky waltz winners Hot dogs and soft drinks were served after which the older girls and boys enjoyed dancing Wedding Shower largo crowd gathered at the community hall rcccntl to honor Grace Pattendcn an Ronald Young with shower before their marriage shirlcy Bowden and Ruth Pattendcn assisted in open ing the many lovely gifts and both Ronald and Grace thanked the community for their kindness and goomwishes The evening concluded with dancing alter dainty lunch had been served llallowoen Tea The Guild of St Thomas held most successful Hallowocn Masquerade The same evening the Girl Guides held masquerade party at Mrs Martins home they too being well dlsguisedin original costumes The prize was awarded Janet and Judy Dingman dressed as little oldvfashloned ladics in black silk headed heirloom gowns jumbled word contest per tinent to Hallowecn and an out door trcasurc hunt were features of the evenings fun delicious and abundant lunch brought the busy day to close Week at Home Mrs Evelyn Murphy is spend ing weeks holiday at her home here Visiting Friends Mr and Mrs More spent week recently visiting with friends in Toronto Bright
