On Sunday night Rev. E. J. Springett, Dominion Commissioner of the British-Israel World Federation, addressed a fair- sized audience in the Roxy Theatre, setting forth the tenets of the move- ment in a masterly way. At the outset the speaker made it plain that the movement was not a new relig- ion or a new party. It did not seek to set up a new church or sect or cult. Nor did it hold that salvation could be found in any other way than th.roug`h Jesus Christ. The churches have been stressing the :Gospel of Salvation, but that is only `part of the teacl1ing' of the Bible; they have neglected the other side, the Gospel of he l{in_e'dom of God. Christ came p1`eachiu;:' the Gospel of Ithe Kingdom of God. It was not till lnear the end of His ministry that He preached the Gospel of Salva- ition. God is as much concerned iwith His people here and now as in ,the hereafter. There is no attempt 'to minimize the sacricial death on the cross. We must get right with :God.
