I TtI!: Vxornnttn ADVANCE On last Monday morning after a a lingering illness lasting overa year Mr. George Marshall, a sufferer from a lung complaint, passed peacfully to that,abode whence no traveller returns. Mr. Marshall was in his 30th.year and through life bore an exemplary cha{acter,he was iden ti- ed with the bretheren and for some years he conducted the service here in con- nection with that body up to about a year ago when ill health prevented him from active work in the bretheren service ;. 18 months `ago he married Miss Phoebe Ostrander, who mourns her husband's demise. The funeral took place on Wednesday from his, brother-in-law's residence at Mr. J. Greave s where _he was tenderly nursed during his last few month's illness, the funeral service was conducted by Messers S; Benner of Orillia and Beatty of Allendale and was followed by a large oortege of friends to the Gospel Hall and thence to the `St. J ohn s cemetery interment where Messers Banner and Beatty sang a beautifulduet while the grave was being lled in.
