Youth and beauty and matronly grace a must have their charms heightened. and we know of I no gentlemen better qualied to supply the ' materials to do it than the proprietors of the Barrie houses who make this a specialty. A pretty little bonnet, trimmed in the nobbiest style, attracted general attention. I The fourth of the series of unique enter- tainments given in the lecture room of Col- lier street 'Methodist church, was held on Thursday night, and like the rest was a most marked success. The attendance was greater than at any of the previous ones, the room being uncomfortably crowded. At 8 o clock the young ladies to the number of 50 and upwards led in and took seats upon the platform, which had been lengthened to accommodate the large amount of youth and beauty, and talent of that section of the church, and an excellent program was executed under` the direction of Miss Emma F.
