013' Friday last Mr. Andrew Malcolm buriedia bright little boy two years of age. On the previous Tuesday evening he came intovthe house saying he had fallen from a swing, which was only about six inches from the ground, and complaining of illness. He was put to bed and a physician sent for. who pronounced the disease brain fever. He lingered in great agony `until Thursday morning, when `death relieved the little sufferer from-his pain. An interesting and instructive funeral sermon was preached by Rev. Mr Trollope, from the words, Is. it well with the child? We are safe in say- ing that we express the sentiments: of the who1e,.nei hborhood when we egttend to Mr. and Mrs. 'ila1olm'ot_ir heartf_elt sympathy in their bereavement. _ n.-- -_-_ --_-_-.--~r .'1\ |.no - uvsyuc, wt! - UV: - .Last Sunday as Mrs. Benjamin Tracy and Mrs. Alfred Armstrong; with two or three children, were going for a short drive, the horse from some unknown cause took fright and running away deposited the occupants of the buggy on the road. The chair was occupied by Mr. D. Finlaysou. ,Addresses were dhlivered by Revs. Uanmom, of-E!mvale,,a'nd Richard, of Dalston. Excellentlmusic wasfurnished bv a choir composed of members of the different churches. Miss O'Brien sang a solo in good style.
