A year ago Albert -Long and Mrs." Fred Bell arrangedpfor the holding of a family re4union*'of the Long family connections at Wasaga Beach._ last August. The event proved, so successful that it `was decided to make it an an- _nual affair. With this object in view, Mr. Long was appointed to look after future arrangements, while Mrs. Bell was appointed corresponding _secretary. The second .re-union was accordingly held at Wasaga Beach last week when about seventy-five of the de- scendants of the late John Long met in the beautiful park at that place/ and spent the day pleasantly in picnicking and.social,intercourse. It was an oc- casion of genuine pleasure for all pre- sent and oneyof which it migh well be said Happy to meet, sorry to art. happy to meet again." Refreshments were served on neatly spread tables from the abundance of good things `that the ladies brought with them. Relatives 'were present from Barrie, Cookstown, -Bradford, '.Beeton. West Gwillimbury, Meaford and St. Vincent. Thankful acknowledgment was made of the fact that not one of therseventy or more connections present at the re- union last year had been called away by death. _ . vmm vgnmz familv originally came Luunxa 1 p w nr T \ >74 ..
