Jones, a well known .and respected citizen of this locality for many years. name was Isabella Wald, with a sister, Sarah, came out from Ireland some for- ty-one years.a . Shortly after coming to Canada she. married Thos. Jones and settled on the farm now occupied by her son`. William. Her husband pre- deceased her some ten years. Since then shenived most of the time in Oshawa. Of a kindly and genial dis- position she made many friends who deeply sympathize with the sorrowing family.
