The church was filled in the morning and in the evening more gathered thancould be accommodated." Rev. D. L. Gordon of Agincourt gave two very impressive sermons and the choir helped the services considerably by the quality of the selections render- ed. On Monday night the chicken sup- per brought out a good crowd and after justice was done to all the good things spread in the community hall everyone repaired to the Orange Hall to listen to. the programme. Vocal selections berg, Mrs. J. W, Stone and 'Miss E. Carter and were much amireciated. . Miss `Dorothy Andrews gave several readings as only Dorothy can give them. The main part of the programme consisted of speeches by T. W. W. `Evans of Bradford. Dr. Ames. Rev. Mr. Graham and W. H. Eves. all of Newmarket. These men discussed very eloquently and from every` angle the great temperance question which is bulking so large in the minds of every one today. Ledingham of Jarratt. The meeting was opened with devotional exercises after which Miss McLucas gave the address of-welcome. Twenty minutes was then given to intercessory prayer for prohibition.
