Among these was Walter Mitchell. who has not been well for some time; After having watched the fire for a while he started for home. with his wife. daughter and some lriemls. He had gone only a short distance when the car took the ditch. Then it was discovered that. Mr. Mitchell was in dis- tress. The car was going slowly and no one. was hurt. but by the time Dr._Murphy'of {~'tayner and Dr. Smith of Creemore. who were at the fire, were summoned. Mr. Mit- chell had passed away.
