The meet-- 8 ing was opened by singing the hymn Come Let Us Sing of a Wonderful Love and the Y Lord s Prayer in unison. The meeting was addressed by`Mrs. T. Sinclair, of Barrie. 11 Mrs. Sinclair gave a very interesting sketch of the Provincial W.M.S. Convention. l She pointed out the great nancial needs 1 ofthe mission work, how in the last year ,1 ;the financial needs had not been large enough to carry on the mission work as it should have been done, that many of the V missionaries afterhavin spent seven years ' or more of service wer sent word that they "could not go on -furlough, owing-to finan- -cial difficulties. She pointed -out that if each one would sacrice and give a little more. how much it would help in this great work of advanacin 'God s Kingdom. The harvest truly is eat, but the labourers are few. She also touched `upon the Auxil- iary bales, how important it was that these balesshould not be neglected. but that each Auxiliary should send a bale.
