I The American Hotel dining.-room was the scene of a very enjoyable banquet on Wednesday night when Warden Banting tendered the customary supper to the Coun- ty councillors. ex-wardens, officials and specially invited guests. Good-will and the best of fellowship was exhibited every- where and after partaking of the bounteous repast, several of the humourists helped digestion by" witty remarks.
