Another old and respected resident has been called to her reward in the person of Mrs. John Sheffield, in her seventy- fifth year. Deceased's'maiden name was Elizabeth Priest. She was the daughter of George Priest and was the wife of John 7 uuuuwuuu, may ween. years. After Mr. Sheield s death she made her home with `her son-in-law, Chas. [Thompson of Orillia. The last two years of her life she was practically an invalid from. rheumatism and suered a paralytic stroke a short time previous to her death. The surviving members of her large family are: _Wm. of Craighurst, John of Toronto. Joseph of Inglewood, Thomas Norman of Goodlands, Man., and Mrs. Chas. Thomp- son of Orillia. The funeral was held from Mr. Thompson's residence, Orillia, to the C.P.R. station, thence by train to Craig- hurst to the Presbyterian burying-ground. Interment was made in the family plot by the side of her husband, Rev. J. McEwen, Presbyterian minister, Hillsdale, oiciating at the grave. The pall-bearers were A. Jary, Geo. Binnie, -J. Caston, W.
