Chevrolet Motor Co.,` ' Gentlemen,-- `fbelieve it to be my duty to write you in regard to the car boughtfrom your agent, Mr. G. B. McLean, of Barrie. Before`I tried the car I thought_ he had ,mis_represented it tome, but af. ter driving it a few timesl found that Mr. McLean knew what he was talking about. It is a won- derful car at the price, with the three-speed gear, electric light, electric starter, [electric horn, all giving good satisfaction. I can truly say that it has run without a hitch all summer and judging from my car I believe that the Chevrolet will stand up'under hard usage. As a hi1l-climber give her the gas and see her cli ib. I believe, sirs, that Chev- ro e cars have brought down all records in this" part of the country as a hil1_climber. Chev- rnlet cars ll the bill,`deliver the goods and are always on the job. Wishing you the compliments of the season.. F arrher Yours truly, A JOHN H. GRAVVFORD. Phone 298. BARRIE Around December 11th, 1916. After seven months trial of the Chevrolet car, with an aver- age of 1000 miles per month, ov- er all sorts of roads, in all sorts of weather, day and night, I take pleasure in stating, that it has given me entire satisfaction and without making comparisons with any makes of cars, may say (that in the light of five years previous experience in driving other cars in the same class) that for strength, and durability in standing rough work and par- ticularly as a hill_climher and its ability for pulling through heavy reads, it has, in my opin- ion few equals; _the cost of up- keep on tires and gas being es- pecially light. The Chevrolet is an easy riding car, easy to con- trol, having a steering arrange- ment 'that is a perfect delight, also having a starting and igni- tion system that has given ab- solute satisfaction. The Chevrolet Car which I urchased from Mr. G. B. Mc- Lean. Barrie, has given me ex- cellent satisfaction. I have used itagreatdeal on very hilly roads._ As a hill climber I never saw its equal as I went up `some hills without any trouble, that my friend in Dufferin Co. thought I could not go up. It certainly was able to do with ease all that Mr. McLean claimed that it would do. I have `not had any expense, except for oil and gasoline and I consider it very easy on gasoline and very easy to operate. E do not hesitate. and take p1e;:~,.sure in recommending the abcwve mentioned car to anyone, v v ; From my experience with my car since last, July I can heartily recommend` the Ghe\'1-olet to any person who is wanlingfo pur- chase a nice, comfortable, easy- orunning, m0deratnly-prined car. Dear Sir,--- It gives me pleasure to rec- -ommend the Chevrolet car. I. have used it during the past sea- son and it has given me entim satisfaction. The Chevrolet is climber, easy to steer, also easy on a very comfortable a good hill- operate and easyon gasoline and riding car. I give my word that the Chev- rolet car is worthy of all I have said aboiit `it, and if.I was buy- ing another car it would be 3. Chevrolet. 17 ' A, I To Geo. Mbtor Co., a Dear Ge0.,-- After `nine and one - half months experience runninir a Chevrolet car, I take this oppor- tunity to express my views on the Chevrolet. It has stood the test on all kinds of roads, with all kinds of loads, not costing me_ $1 for repairs, not even 3. flat tire. Ihave run in the neighborhood of five thousand miles, and never had a ve min- ute stop on the road with car trouble. I musttsay, I c0r1{~""at- ulate myself` on the decision I made on choosing a car, as they are easy on gasoline and \*eI`.V comfortable to ride in; and for a -hill-clim ber it has no efJ11`c11- in all cars I have seen or had ex- perience with. 11-..- 11,9 -11 1,- - ....:..l.. Page 1'hreo_ :1JU mu , Referriiig to Chevrolet car purchased from you on `July 22nd, 1916, _ I feel that you as `well as the Company are entitled- to son`1e acknowledgment on my part as to the merits of same car. As. you remember the car_- was accepted on. your recon)- mendation. I have discovered since that time` that you only displayed about half the quali- ties -of the car; have driven about twenty-t'1ve hundred miles with- out a cent s- worth of repairs of any kind, have also found it easy -on gasailine and tires and one of the. simplest operated and con- trolled ears on the market. The` starting device is the best in -operation today, using a very small amount of current, which greatly prolongs the lifeof the st.oz"ar_;:> batteries. I have driven and repaired at good many differ- ent makes of cars, but nd the Chevrolet. has no equal, being` in a class by itself for simple con; stru_r:tion, ne workmanship and durability. As for hill-climbing, tl1is'is the greatest achievement. If ll l"0l11d1'lOt make anyhill inthe neighborliood of Barrie from f- teen to t\\'er1ty-ve miles per hour on high I would think there was something wrong.
