licensee several new combinations of letters and numbers will be used to take care of the increased numbers of cars revamping of the present system will permit the use of combinations thai are not too confusing to the trafficstrained eyes of the motor cop this coming year will see the same system of numbering in oper ation as was in effect this year what form the 1951 plates will take is a deep members in attendance interesting reports were given on the various tests and demon- strations that have been carried out under the ontario county crop improvement association during the year in most cases the farmer on whose farm the demon stration was held reported on the project a progress report on weed and brush control in ontario county was given by the county weed inspector ryerson beare mr beare pointed out that consider able demonstration work on both weed and brush control had been carried ont with very good results mr beare pointed out that it was very difficult to cover the entire county with the small supply of spraying equipment available in the county he expressed the hope that a number of townships would purchase spraying equipment for use another year it was decided to hold the ontario county seed fair in brooklin in march the date to be decided by the executive and the project committee it was decided that the ontario county crop improvement assoc iation would set up an educational exhibit in connection with soil conservation at the annual meet ing of the provincial crop improvement association in tor onto the week of january 16th this educational exhibit would feature the farm models of the heber down farm that were built by the brooklin junior farmers and displayed at the con servation day last september at the conclusion of the meeting an interesting set
