the tribune stouffvtlle ont thursday september 8 19h3 additional locals with the reopening of school and early darkness of the evening rural residents will be anxious to see the end of daylight saving time again some toronto advocates of daylight time are urging an exten sion to nov 27 but hope the city does not go for it it would mean that such places as stouffville in close proximity to the city would have to follow the big towns action if those who are so bent on disturbing the proper standard time had to get up and send child ren to school in the gray dawn of the morning they would not be so keen for clock interference the boogy about saving hydro has often been denied by officials so were not impressed with the argument towiships heavily stocked with young pheasants the coming pheasant shoot this fall should not be disappointing because hundreds of young bird have been dropped into the local areas the township of whitchurch received about i00 this year and the township of markham is in receipt of 900 pickering township which is also in the game pre serve was well stocked again by the dept of game and fisheries so that the block of three town ships ought to be happy
