sons ronnie and mel- rille were severely burned but mxs belford and baby nancy three weeks escaped uninjured children screaming upstairs woke mrs belford who when she saw flames grabbed young baby and ran outside while her hus band ran upstairs to get other children house seen from the air was a raging inferno within minutes and no one could get near it after mr belford had assisted his two sons to safety he went back into the flames to rescue sharon but he never came out the two boys were sent to hospital for sick child ren in toronto where ronnie died a day later andrew peqq dies homesteading often found in rural church service the accom paniment played on the piano by the church organist mrs ohas nolan displayed classic interpre tation her work stood out for sheer graciousness and delightful cadence both the choir and leader were behind her yet her coordination was perfeotly timed and with great ease appreciating the background of devotion and labour of laskay con gregation mr davis congratulated the beauty of the edifice as a token of reverence toward the cause of the church of christ in his dynamic appeal he chal lenged his hearers to realization of the vital problems facing the church today too much cordial easy thinking too much smug compla cency and apathy lead to the downfall of institutions but beau- jtiiful and yet dumb in vital func tioning conviction must
