roads com mine under the chairmanship of d blake annis reeve of the town ship of pickering in his report mr annis inform ed the members of council that strides had been taken to alleviate most snowplowing difficulties that have besn experienced in the past he outlined the acquisition of two new snow plow units in the form of a road maintainer complete with snow plow and wing and a four- wheel drive truck complete with plow and wing the report also outlined the new allocation of plowing units to cer tain specified districts and a re commended program of works to be carried out by the incoming council excerpts from mr annis report are as follows your committee have again considered the snow plowing of county roads the coming winter for your information we are reporting that the new no 512 adams power maintainer was received october 1st and the fwd truck has now been received both these machines have been operated for dragging and hauling to get them ready for snow plowing with the addition of these two pieces of equipment your committee are desirous of renting as few snow plowing units the coming winter as possible the other snow plowing districts and outfits allocated
