every five years more than 600 descendants of the stauffer family pioneers of waterloo county attended the sixth quinquennial reunion held in waterloo park rela tives and countless friends attended from nearly every section of canada and distant points in united states if there had been any prize for the person attending from the greatest distance the award would have gone to mrs c schweitzer of around stouffviue born near uxbridge 85 year ago her maiden name was annie john ston she moved to mount forest in 1879 and had four daughters and three sons be sides the family her husband who is in his 92nd year also sur vives he was a brother of the late david rusnell of this town mr graham johnston of ux bridge who has just passed his 83rd birthday in company with his daughter mrs wm grove of
